Everyone knows that the Dragster 180 is the Godzilla of scooters, able
to crush almost any opposition with a twist of the throttle. We do have plenty
of demand though for our City Skoots powerup package and cosmetic upgrade which
endows the engine with up to 25hp and does away with the stock instruments,
replacing them with an LCD race dash -
NOTE: This Dragster has also been
fitted with a Polini Variator, Malossi Delta Clutch, and Malossi Kevlar belt.

First part of the powerup to the Dragster
is the removal of the
body panels to allow
the engine to be fully stripped down. In
this
case we used an uprated cylinder head to raise
the stock
compression by two points, and also
installed new piston rings |

Making the Dragster breathe better is
key to harnessing the
additional power
To achieve this we upgrade the carburettor
from the
stock 20mm unit up to 26mm,fit a
Malossi single petal reed assembly,
then
equip it with a less restrictive pod filter |

Our testing on the dyno has shown that
the JollyMoto exhaust system
as pictured
here gives the best compromise between a
midrange and
top end power gain. It is a
crucial part of the Dragster 180 hot
up
and also makes the scoot sound great! |

The finishing touch is our fitment
of an Iceman electronic dash
display
not only does this do away with the stock
chrome speedo, but
it also adds 4 EGT sensors
water temperature, fuel level, and
transmission
temperature. There is also full logging and
laptop
analysis capability |
